A dry cleaner with 3×180A of machines on a 3×63A grid connection — capacity control instead of a heavier connection.

The machine park of this Amsterdam dry cleaner adds up to about 3×180A, nearly three times what the 3×63A grid connection supplies. Instead of upgrading the connection, the Homer EMS directs the machines: whichever needs power reports in, the system grants room in turn and ensures total draw stays within the connection. Work in the shop simply continues; a heavier grid connection is not needed.
