Everything runs locally: the software works without a cloud and keeps functioning when the internet drops — the data stays in the building. Measuring and switching is done with self-designed circuit boards in the meter cabinet, with firmware that falls back to a safe state on failure. Control schemes are composed rather than programmed: with the built-in controller builder, an operator assembles a control step by step, from heat-pump control to charging schedules.
- Can I connect more machines than my grid connection supplies?

An energy management system (EMS) guards the connection, flattens the peak load and keeps total draw within the contracted capacity. Capacity control is the alternative: staying within the existing connection by spreading peaks instead of upgrading the grid.

- A heavier connection means waiting for the grid operator and then paying structurally higher fixed charges for capacity that sits unused most of the day.
